Do your part
During these uncertain times, we must do our part to help each other. Right now, you can do that by following these steps to protect yourself and your family:
- Practice physical distancing.
- Avoid going to crowded places, especially contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a face mask.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. You can also use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if water and soap are not available.
If you have an emergency or are ill and need immediate care, please call 911 or your local hospital immediately.
Thank you for your support. For more information, please visit the CDC’s website at www.cdc.gov.
